I think the multi- player aspect could work really well with tycoons, but so far I've only seen incredibly ham- handedly handled attempts. And on the THIRD hand (don't ask), tycoons are mostly idle games, meaning that players often minimize the game and do something else while waiting. On the other hand, that cooperation requires both players to be present.
